Customer: Large Media Group, listed in Australia
Usage: This group has used vRoam for both its executives travelling overseas as well as journalists.
The challenge has been to find a way to respond rapidly to the needs of the journalists who are required to jump on a plane with little notice to follow a story. vRoam has supplied the company with a number of permanent simcards on the Frequent Traveller plan so that they always maintain a supply of simcards for regular destination, while ad-hoc simcards are supplied when required.
The fully itemised billing means that tight control is kept on mobile phone expenses while travelling.
 

Customer: Sport tour company
Usage: The organisation uses the simcards for their tour leaders when they travel overseas to major sports events. In addition, vRoam service is made available to their tour participants who find this a valuable added bonus from the tour operator. As each tour is to a different destination, the company makes use of the extensive vSIM coverage in over 140 countries
Calls between tour participants and the tour leaders are now much cheaper, saving them a fortune.
 

Customer: Medical conference company
Usage: The organisation uses vRoam handsets and simcards for their group leader and their guest attendees during travel overseas to medical conferences. In addition, vRoam pre-programs the group numbers into the handset contact list, so attendees (who may not otherwise know each other) can liaise and contact each other easily.
Calls are now much cheaper, saving them a fortune, and the itemised, customised bill allows full financial control.
 

Customer: Subsidiary of US company
Usage: The Managing Director travels back to the USA on a regular basis for Board meeting. The company has one simcard on a Frequent plan which they keep, and if anyone else is travelling vRoam supplies them with additional simcards.
Because of the time difference, most calls tend to be diverted to voicemail. The company has been able to make substantial savings as accessing  the vRoam voicemail is now only a local call, rather than an international ‘tromboned’ call.

Usage: These people are going away on holiday and simply want to be able to keep in touch with family, while having the security of a mobile phone as they travel. Cutting costs is critical. These customers use vRoam for a few weeks at a time on the Trip Plan. As cost is critical, they are excited by the option that people can call them directly on their vSIM number, and they know they are minimizing the cost of receiving the call.
