SLASH MOBILE ROAMING BILLS
A new service has been launched to counter the exorbitant cost of mobile roaming. vRoam Global has introduced an innovative service that allows businesses to save up to 50% off their roaming bills without having to change their Australian mobile service provider.
The ‘Virtual Roaming’ process has been developed and tested for over a year. ‘Virtual Roaming’ is the result of a complex process bringing together of technology, regulatory issues and processes to provide customers with a simple to use service.
vRoam Global offers customers the option of having an additional local phone number in the foreign country, so that they can have a local contact number if required. Customers are still fully contactable on their usual Australian phone number. Local and international calls are all cheaper, and some costs are totally eliminated. Fully itemised monthly billing is also standard.
vRoam Global currently offers the service for travelers to New Zealand, UK, South Africa, France and Belgium. Users can take advantage of savings to these destinations and use traditional roaming services elsewhere. Other countries are being added regularly.
